Well, the USA was colonized at first by people who mostly did not tolerate other religions, and these people sometimes expelled people who did not go along.
And in the early towns, 1700 to late 1800, if you did not belong to the local church, you were not accepted. Town meetings were held in the church.
In the 20th century many counties had “blue laws” that were based on religious beliefs, the least of which was liquor sale on the Sabbath, and other laws shutting things down on Sunday. Hardly religious tolerance.
So Obama does not really know our history.

There is a difference in meaning between Freedom of Religion and Religious Freedom.
In God’s Plan, we are all condemned prior to faith in Christ. We all have scarred our thinking (soulish) processes when were not yet saved. When we become saved, through just a little more faith than no faith whatsoever in what Christ performed on the Cross, we now have a human spirit, discernible from the soul, by which we may worship God, only through faith in Christ.
The particular issues each group of believers might study of His Word, in their walk with Christ may differ tremendously between different congregations.
This also leads to many different Christian theologies by the order of learning and worship they each observe.
It was recognized during the colonization and settling of our continent, that many different congregations of different Christian religions sought to settle in the New World. It was also promoted during the reign of Queen Elizabeth and after, to allow freedom of religion, in the colonies to encourage settler to immigrate and pioneer through the Americas.
All of them were Christian. The Freedom of Religion was between different Christian churches and congregations. Never did they accept or condone worship of other gods.
Only in this last century, have we seen so many anti-Christian cults arise and now promoted as counterfeit substitutes for worship of the one and only true God. The allowance of worshiping other gods is ‘religious freedom’. God doesn’t allow it. He is a jealous God and will have no other Gods before Him.
We have freedom to find our proper Pastor-Teacher for study of His Word. We are not allowed the freedom to worship false Gods and remain in fellowship with Him.

the biggest lie is his repeated, sly assertion about “Our country”...as if he is an American citizen (note this is not about his obvious lack of qualification/Natural Born Citizenship for the office, only about his apparent lack of any regular American citizenship So far as we know ...since he’s hidden all the real documents and indeed paid several million dollars to keep them hidden), we have no reason to believe he belings in USA at all. Born, according to his aunt and grandmother, in Kenya... he would hold Kenyan and possibly British citizenship...and we have very good reason with some documentation about his having Indonesian citizenship.... We do not have any reason or documentation about is any American citizenship (since he’s hidden his immigration file and any naturalization records, since he’s hidden his school records which would probably show his status as a foreign student, since he’s used a stolen Social Security number, and since he has apparently no selective service record, etc.
We are tired of his sneaky claims to hold American citizenship when he continually refuses to provide any genuine evidence of having acquired any.
We are tired of his lecturing us about our history or our Constitution since he apparently knows precious little about these things, and his holding the office gives deliberate lie to them.
We are especially tired of his lecturing us about Judeo-Christian teachings or morality, since these things he undermines and works against at his every opportunity.
