You might think the dealer would have taken him for a test ride....and cautioned about the power under that hood.

Certainly not conducive to a leisurely Sunday ride on a country road.

Exactly. I have had an interest in cars since I was a youth but have never driven in a car like this. I would get serious training in a high performance driving school before ever doing so. I did recently test drive the Tesla but was very cautious and a bit nervous while doing so since it was the most expensive car I had ever driven. It wasn’t the performance edition but even so it was new to me in a number of different ways and you need to know what you are doing before doing anything out there on the road.
