(Vanity) Hillary will choose Bernie as her VP, and soon

Posted on 05/04/2016 4:59:31 AM PDT by Trump-a-licious

I truly don't think Hillary has a chance of winning, I believe she is dealing with serious health problems that prevent her from being in public most of the time. That, and I think the opposing views she's going to have to take against Trump (go down the list of Trumps issues, Border, Trade, Military, Islam) and Hillary is doomed. She is going to have to be for Open Borders, Bad Trade, bringing more muslims in, a weak military and so on. While the hard core left (which is a lot them) would have no problems with her stances, the swing vote will not like her stance.

All these young Berni fans want change, mostly because they're millennials sick of living in their mom's basement (though they don't realize that is why they are angry). Once they hear Trump speak, many of them will awaken from their idiocy and begin to think "You know, being able to buy a car, have a nice apartment or house wouldn't be so bad ..." They're not going to get "Hope" from Hillary. No, all they're going to get from her is "Trump is Risky" and "I build bridges not walls" BS. A lot of these millennials are going to be thinking about their futures as they watch debates. I mean their real future, what am I going to eat, I need a better job, my life actually sucks, I have no real future if I keep going like this and so on ... They're never going to vote for Hillary's message, she's probably the "insider of insiders".

No, the only way Hillary can capture these wild oats is to graft them in and act like she is adopting their cause. She doesn't give a crap who her VP pick really is, as long as it puts her in the White House so that her life long power trip will have been realized. Then she can have nightly sacrifices of millennials for entertainment.

Mark my words, Bernie will be her VP pick, and sooner than you think. It will happen within the next two weeks, Bernie will suspend, the deal will be made, she cannot afford a long drawn out nominee fight. Hillary looks very weak right now, she cannot close the deal. And, if she wins via "Super Delegates" she will be the left's "Ted Cruz" and will have confirmed what the millennials already know "everything is is fixed" power begets power, they will not vote for her.

When they hear Trump in the debates, and they will watch them, they are going to be suprised how much sense Trump makes, some might even become American's again.

Agreed. VP is a nothing position for someone who has established influence in Congress, and who still has a viable chance of getting the nomination. He’d rather run hard, lose, and return to the Senate than be her impotent checkbox.

Watch those superdelegates: they’re not bound, know more about what’s going on, and may very well have reason to dump her en masse on short notice. That FBI investigation is still on, and some very powerful quiet people have very good reason to see she falls hard.

Hillary probably has a running mate secured due to some type of quid pro quo behind the scenes. However if Sanders becomes some sort of political liability (Running third term, easing tension due to popular vote, etc.) I can a possible ticket of Hillary/Sanders.

It’s called “alcoholism”

Nah..I don’t see it happening.

My bet is on Andrew Cuomo, once the polling in NY comes out and it shows Trump ahead there.

He’s former HUD sec. under Bubba, a gun hater, fag and tranny friendly, hardcore leftard.

Aren’t you the one who had a “bad feeling” about Trump’s chances in Indiana yesterday?

Bernie is not THAT stupid.

I am still waiting for the leaks from the FBI.

I don’t think so. They both represent the same demographic and don’t like each other much. Both are northern liberals. Hillary will probably go after a left coast liberal or someone that might help her with the southern democrats.

"The rumor is it will be Tim Kaine, the former VA Gov and DNR chair"

That would be a smart pick for Hillary. He's one of the few younger Democrats out there with a high profile and he gets the Dems Virginia. At least they hope he does. He's even a gun grabber who has the aura of being pro 2nd amendment. Someone not for the Sanders supporters, but for the 'moderates'...

I agree. But then I said Trump would not be the nominee.

If Hillary is the nominee I think it will be Lieawatha Warren.

I think Trump will convince the middle that the Beast is also a crook. And I think he’ll convince them that the Bern wants to give their money to thugs and foreign countries. It’s not going to even be close. The witch and bern are old news.

Also...Andrew needs to get out of Dodge before the noose gets too tight on him via the U.S. Attorney files corruption charges against him over the Buffalo Billion.

Cuomo has always had national aspirations, but once the NY Safe Act passed in the middle of the night, he was done nationally, and being her VP would breath new life into him.

There is no downside for her on this. He’s young, crooked, and venal.

Nope. Not a chance. Sanders does fine in college towns and his voters will turn out more, but that is not a winning coalition. He is minority vote repllant, and the African-American vote accounts for 25% of Dem turnout in a normal election. She also doesn’t need help in Vermont. She has a metaphysical need to be in CONTROL, and Sanders won’t be her poodle.

She will either go for a so-called main-stream Biden type guy who won’t overshadow her, (Tim Kaine) or a lightweight but charismatic black or Hispanic candidate. She will NOT pick a woman.

Trump has numerous options. If he goes minority (we have some who would be incredible picks) he should pick him or her first and he can accuse HRC of mimicking him if she does likewise (e.g. both picking Hispanics).

Hillary’s shot at the presidency is diminishing day by day. With the loss of the FBI lottery and Trump making it through the Republican primary gauntlet all of the sordid details of Clintongate are coming out.

Trump has already said he’s going after her for that. She flat out lied in the recent Andrea Mitchel interview. On top of that she’s being criticized for skirting the law by pulling money out of the states which was earmarked for other candidates. Obama had to intervene with donors.

She’s toast.

Hillary’s limited public appearances may be because of her health, but even more Hillary minimizes her presence because she knows each appearance increases her unfavorable ratings. Earlier in her campaign when she reduced her appearances her ratings improved and when held public events her unfavorable rating shot up.

“But I think it will make Bernie less popular with young people.”

This is the only possible disaster for the Trump campaign because as a parent of a son who recently graduated college, and now works at the college, most of the Dem kids LOVE Bernie. My coworkers with college age kids tell me the same. The kids think he’ll give free college to everyone and they are all for it.

Granted, they dislike Clinton, but with their man in 2nd spot it will bring Clinton many more votes which is rather scary.
