If he wants to ever have any hope of earning back my trust, he should admit the dishonest way he conducted himself during this primary and apologize. I don’t expect that to happen at all, nor do I expect to ever have any material level of trust in anything he says ever again.
Rush always said that nobody could break his bond with his audience but him. Well, he’s broken it with me and a lot of others during this primary. I don’t need him to agree with me, but I do need him to be honest. Don’t insult me and then tell me you didn’t. Don’t tout laughable polls and ignore legitimate ones to create some kind of delusional dimension where facts are different. Once the honesty went out the window, so did the trust and the bond.
