What we hear and read in Matt’s essays is the deep research he has done to write his books focused so well on our times. What he shares in non-fiction is, I think, a accumulation of what he has studied in depth.

His talented use of analogies not only adds a flair to his writing (and speaking), but is a brilliant way of explaining the ideas and concepts he’s trying to portray so that even the *slowest* of us can grasp the concepts. I’m anxious to watch the second interview at the link posted up thread, but I’ll have to wait until this evening. Again, thanks for starting this thread. I wouldn’t have known about the interview since I don’t usually pay much attention to AJ. I must have missed it if Matt started a thread telling us he was doing the interview.

Yeah, though I find Alex a bit annoying, I’m grateful that he had Matt on.
Have you listened to him for any length of time or are you basing that assessment on something else? If you can get passed his voice and assertive attitude he Really is worth giving a chance. He has great guests as well. Many people you won’t hear on LSM for sure. Alex has been right about things and he was talking about the current situation way before anyone in LSM would acknowledge any problems at all.

Prescience comes from studying History, distant and recent. Human’s are basically creatures of habit. The lust for power over all usually manifests in the same ways throughout History and Matt has discerned the patterns. America is already seeing the water leave the shore, so we are already in a pattern which will not be stopped by magic thinking ...
