Sorry but I’m not sure that DC getting nuked would be all bad.

Why is William Perry putting this out now? The Iran deal is done. What’s his angle?

Say what you like about William Perry, but he is the man who green-lighted and championed the development of stealth technology whilst he served as Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering during the Carter years, when military R&D was under a great deal of pressure from the Carter administration's peaceniks.
I'm reading Ben Rich's memoir Skunkworks, about the venerable Lockheed division he (Rich) took over from Kelly Johnson when the latter reached the age of mandatory retirement. Mr. Rich, who was the person within Lockheed who first saw the potential of stealth technology to be a decisive factor in the conduct of the cold war, has nothing but nice things to say about Mr. Perry, as might be expected.

I still remember when people cheered when DC was destroyed during the Movie Independence Day.

Nuke DC?
Perfect!
Simultaneous punishment for the most wicked and corrupt AND a return to Limited Government.
Looking forward to waking up to the Drudge headline “DC GONE!” “States rediscover Original Intent” “No call to rebuild DC”

Cockroaches can survive massive radiation exposure. Congress,The Executive and Judicial branches thus survive.

I’d mourn the loss of the DC Chapter and the DAR library the most.

If both houses of Congress were in session, and Obama and Mooch were in town, I’d say it would be a positive development.
