There are more old cars in the dry atmosphere of Arizona than in all of Cuba, and they are up to code, too.
My father in law rebuilds Triumphs there, and I even saw a Gremlin!

There is NO FREE ENTERPRISE in Cuba, and that includes the oldest profession, prostitution. Fidel’s revolution sets and enforces the price at market rates for everything, including sex with tourists.

It would take ONE ride in one of those old non air conditioned cars to make you switch to a more modern SUV with tinted windows and cold air blowing in your face.

Your post reminded me that I did indeed drive for a year in Houston in a car without AC, and in the same vehicle (Ford Ranger) for 2 years without heat which was not as epic but still sucky for 2 months of the year.
It made me a stronger person!
