Celebrity chef Jenn Louis has been arrested on suspicion of attacking her husband at their popular North Portland restaurant Lincoln.
Police showed up at the restaurant at 3808 N. Williams Ave. about 9:15 p.m. Friday following a 911 call by Louis' husband, David Welch. He told police that she had socked him in the nose and then left, according to Sgt. Pete Simpson, Portland police spokesman. When officers arrived, they interviewed Welch and took Louis' statement outside the restaurant.
Based on their accounts, Louis was booked into Multnomah County jail just before 11 p.m. on a domestic violence misdemeanor assault. She was released without bail.
Welch told The Oregonian/OregonLive that he finished his shift at Lincoln on Friday but only worked a half a shift on Saturday because of how he looked. He confirmed that Louis punched him in the nose.
"I'm fine," he said. "I'm not injured further than that."
He said the story was trivial but declined to provide details. He would not say whether he is pressing charges. The two are in the process of getting a divorce, he said. They've been married for 12 years.

Portland Liberals, showing us who they really are.
Imagine my surprise to discover the husband is actually a man
I see Portland celebrities are doing their part to Keep Portland Weird.
With a snowflaking husband like that she’s better off without him. Sue for divorce in a state without alimony.
ROTFLOL....now that’s funny.
What kind of man would let his wife punch him in the nose?
What kind of man would then call the police after being punched by a woman?
Can he honestly call himself a man?
That was my first thought, too.
Anyone ever known a chef that hadn’t gone around the bend?

Your way of thinking is a bit anachronistic. With all of the bra-burning hippy trash from the 60s raising "strong, independent women" while emasculating the boys, we're now in a situation where domestic violence CAN be a two-way street.
Used to be assumed that the man was the aggressor, but modern society is eschewing the idea of the "innocent woman," much to the chagrin of the left. Problem is if this man had defended himself, he would've been thrown in jail as a pariah and strung up as an example of the "white male patriarchy."
Meanwhile, men who hold their tongues and their tempers are castigated by vitriol as the one in your post. It's a sad dichotomy: sit there, take it, be called a pussy; or defend yourself and be called a violent criminal.
How's that for "equality?"
Good Thing She Didn’t Pull Out The Henkels.
Actually, I know several, with great family lives. But they're not celebrities, which may be a factor. (They sure do make some awesome food.)
The husband threw a glass bottle in the plastic recycle bin.
Nobody won here. He’s a pussy and now he has none. And she, well, the picture speaks for itslf.
Those chefs know their way around knives.
And what better way to conclude that process than to work together in a high pressure environment in a small enclosed space?
How very unenlightened and hateful. I thought the same thing.
If Ichabod Crane were reincarnated as a woman.....
