Sorry for the vanity, but this is getting tiresome to me. The same few posters find any drivel to support Lyin' Ted or any screed to jab Mr. Trump. We all know who they are. What if nobody responds to their attempts to incite? Maybe the threads die out sooner and some of the invectives against one another lessen.
I know that I have been purposely avoiding even reading articles posted by the select few. I have found my blood pressure to be much better once I started ignoring the falling trees.

It is foolhardy to think that Donald Trump or Ted Cruz or anyone else can save what’s left of America. We are on the verge of Civil War, a war that will not end well. The only way to prevent an all out slaughter is to have that war earlier rather than later: in the streets. There should be push back, measure for measure, and then some. If Occupy puts ten thousand in the streets, the Right must put fifty thousand in the streets. Reciprocate, and overwhelm. May I offer the words of that great Black father of our party, Fredrick Douglas: “If there is no struggle there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom and yet depreciate agitation are men who want crops without plowing up the ground, they want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, and it may be both moral and physical, but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will”.

My thoughts are that Cruz and Trump supporters are way too obsessed with politics.

Here’s a radical idea: tone down the rhetoric and ad hominem labeling and start building bridges. We are all going to need each other’s votes for Trump to defeat Hillary in November, and demonizing those who support a rival candidate for the GOP nomination is not going to help. This is true for both sides, and we had better start figuring out how to unite against our real and common enemy before this country is flushed down the drain.
That's what sucks me in. If someone lies and its not countered it stands as the truth to some. Some people are drawn to FR to get information. I feel an obligation until the facts/links have been laid out to counter the misinformation although I am a bit quicker to abandon the "don't confuse me with the facts folks" once I have refuted the inaccuracies such that a reasonable person would have a doubt and a place to research further.
It's been a few days since I checked the donor rolls, but not one Freeper with Trump in their handle has appeared.

LOL! Boehner’s comments are one of the most compelling reasons I’ve heard to support Cruz.
So, basically what you are saying is, Trump has the GOPe support, which is good. The same GOPe that LOVES them some Obama.
Following that logic, one would have to conclude that you are Democrat lite and/or GOPe.
What really helps is the chiming in of others to reinforce and amplify. That means a lot.
Its not really as simple as the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Boehner’s comments on Cruz were personal not political. Politically Boehner and the GOP establishment have been supporting Cruz, & funneling him funds whether to use him as a spoiler or because they would rather have him as the nominee. There are many analyses of the poltical strategies underway. The establishment has done everything it can to destroy Trump.
The fact that Boehner says Cruz is a Lucifer means he sees him as a betrayer. You can’t call some one a betrayer unless they were in the fold/on your team initially. While I have no respect for Boehner I think this comment is no complement to Ted Cruz. Also I think Trump would be wise not to trust the GOP in any way shape or form. I think he knows exactly what cooperation means to them: always watch your back & count your fingers.

Perhaps - but that shouldn't stop us from striving to do everything we can to make a difference - the good fight is worth fighting even if the chances of success are slim.
I love Frederick Douglas and what he stood for (along with Booker T. Washington). We are probably doomed, if for no other reason than we haven't the stamina of those who work against us.
Not all folks will do so but many respond after reading a headline and a few comments as if the headline and supporting comments make it fact w/o actually digging in for the meat/true meaning of the whole of the article - conveniently ignoring the facts that don't agree with their meme.
If we're here on FR, one would assume we have time and inclination to espouse what we believe to be right - to pass up those opportunities is just a form of laziness.
We have fallen so far behind because we do not exhibit the zeal and long-term stamina of the other side. If we continue in this manner, the other side will win because we eschew small victories in hopes of a final coup de grace that render all the battles irrelevant.....
You sound like a thinking person and we need more like you to become "tediously" active in every facet of the battles/war.
They don’t bother me...I see them as comic relief...They keep re posting the same lies regardless of how much proof is posted that they are lies...
It can’t be Ted’s friends doing this since he doesn’t have any...I doubt he has any ‘close’ relatives as well...
So it has to be people whose livelihood depends on illegal cheap labor or cheap junk from china to sell to Americans who have no choice but to buy it...
They know Ted doesn’t stand a chance to win so their only hope is to knock Trump out and get Hillary in there to be able to continue their ill gotten gains...
Just laugh at them...
They are the ones who started making it personal by calling Trump supporters nasty names...
