I know this sounds strange, but only $15,000 for these glasses? If it was covered by insurance, the price tag would probably be another $100,000 higher.

It’s the way it should be. imho

health medical care is so high due to middleman “insurers” and liability “insurance” due to suing being so many lawsuits.

15k sounds even too high if the maker truly made them to
1. help people’s vision
2 wants them accessible to more people.
3. plus think of all the precipitous good to come, wearer’s personal current quality of life improves, family/friend relationships can become richer, wearer can go on to pursue and accomplish things unthought of before, etc.

my dad explained to me years ago, why sell a cookie at $1 and only sell 2, when you can sell them at 50 cents and sell so many more?

and think of all the “insurance” types, home, auto, pet, vacation, etc etc it’s crazy to pay monies monthly in hopes nothing goes wrong, and most times nothing does.
