(Supplied) Convicted women sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia have been more resistant to beheading than men, prompting authorities to change the execution method to shooting, a well-known Saudi executioner has said.
Abu Bandar Al Bishi, a massive man who has beheaded scores of convicted criminals in public places in the Gulf Kingdom, said most of those brought to the execution area appear to be in “trance” ahead of their death.
Quoted by the Saudi daily Sabq, he denied social media reports that those sentenced to death are drugged just before their execution.
“Those brought for execution are not drugged..there is no medical intervention in their execution…they just appear to be in trance or half dead,” Bishi said.
“As for women, they are more resistant to execution than men…we used to behead them but the verdict has been changed to executing them by shooting.
He said many convicts make requests just before their execution, adding that one asked for a cigarette. “Of course we did not give him a cigarette…if he had asked to pray before his death, then it would have been much better.”
Bishi said he uses a gun to execute women by shooting them in the head, adding that he does not stick to doctor’s instructions to shoot them in the heart.
“The doctor draws a mark towards the heart on the convict’s back…but I shoot them in the head because the bullet may miss the heart target if the convict moves.
The muslims are going to be reistant to our leadership finally ordering their hanging one of these days.

Not that it matters, but I don’t fully believe this executioner. I think most of those people have either been drugged or conditioned not to react. I’ve heard reports that many ISIS groups will stage numerous fake execution events, stopping at the last possible minute. This desensitizes the victim, and produces someone more likely to blandly stumble along, single file, on the way to their beheading. The victim is thinking this is the 45th fake execution, or maybe the 55th. Can’t quite recall.
There is no explanation of “are more resistant...” means. Does the blade bounce off their neck? Do they move before the blade falls? Do they fight having their heads lopped off?
I suspect it’s the latter two, but it’s not clear.
If they are better fighters at resisting having their heads lopped off - good for them.
So, how do they not dot the same thing when the Saudi’s want to shoot them in the head?

About thirty years ago, I found myself at a dinner party with one of Britain’s last executioners - he’d done the job back in the 1950s - he was fascinating to talk to. I don’t think he ever hanged a woman (it was very rare in Britain as I understand it - women nearly always got reprieved) but one thing that struck me was him saying he’d never hanged a coward. Men seemed to him to understand that it was inevitable when it came down to it and all they had left was their dignity. The method they used in the UK also gave them little time to panic - he said they were generally hanging less than thirty seconds after their cell door was opened, no last words or any of those trappings - straight from the cell to the trapdoor under the rope and beam through a hidden door, straps on, lever pulled.

Those awful Rednecks in North Carolina just passed a law banning men from using the ladies room! That's far more discriminatory and wrong than what goes on in the Muslim world!
How about traumatic shock? Wouldn’t that leave someone dazed and unresponsive? Also the women are probably conditioned from birth by years of violent treatment by Muslim males to not respond to more violent treatment
