The j@ck@$$ who kidnapped her wasn’t even a Mormon. They abolished polygamy in 1890. Yeah, there are some tiny fringe groups who still do it but without sanction of mainstream Mormons. Muslims, on the other hand . . .

He was Mormon but went to a breakoff. And polygamy continued underground until the 1930’s and is still doctrine if not practiced.
