I'm sure those who are outraged about this are suffering more trauma than the cats. Who hasn't gotten such marker on themselves? Anyone been made ill from it? Anyone been emotionally scarred for life?

IMO, all these stories are designed to turn folks' attention away from the wholesale murder of babies and so many bite that it's amazing anyone even realizes that babies are being murdered everyday - I guess babies just ain't as cute as puppies and kittens to a lot of folks....

you know that's kinda insulting to a degree. You're preaching to the choir. Those of us, on FreeRepublic actually do know what is happening to babies, and are aware that the numbers being reported are, probably, on the "low" side of the actual numbers. Now, that being said, a woman makes the actual decision to terminate the life she is carrying, animals on the other hand have NO say in what happens to them. THEY are at the total mercy of humans (I know babies are too, and YOU know what I mean).
