Sometimes dogs, as well as other animals, pay an incredibly high price for being our friends.

I haven’t been able to get Vucko out my head since I read about him.

I don’t know how we do these things to God’s wonderful animals.

It makes me ashamed to be a human being.

But then I remember for all of those of us who hurt, there are those of us who help.

So I don’t know, I’m very troubled by cruelty to animals.

I don’t know how the people that did that to Vucko can even live with themselves.

If I knew that I did something like that, I’d kill myself.

I’m deeply troubled by animal cruelty as well.

And child cruelty.

I guess I’m deeply troubled about the state of our world.
