Actually, Prince was not from my era, but I respected his talent. In a later post you reference Hendrix. He is my era but is not my fav...but still an excellent musician.

I find that most artists (musicians, writers, artists, dancers, actors, what have you) are pretty tortured people. They cut off their ears, take drugs and have generally bizarre and tortured lives. It's almost like the good Lord gives them this gift but takes their common sense and stability.

I don't know that any thing you said has any validation.
Nor does anyone.

I am just happy beyond belief that I have no extraordinary talent...just a lot of stability.

You are so right about “Artistic “/ Autistic people.They tend to have massive dysfunctions in areas of self control as a general rule. I have a friend who is a medical Doctor who plays professional R & blues guitar . He has aspergers disease but he is a genius . He has zero social skills and self management problems. But at least he never does drugs or alcohol. You ought to hear his talent.
