I have nothing against them except for that whole Obama versus the auto industry and submission on GMC and Chrysler’s part. I actually owned an elderly Fiat 600 and a new 128 Sports Coupe while stationed in Italy. Of course, over there, every Tony and his brother owned a garage. Good little zipping around cars.
My folks had a Spider convertible in 1978 or 1979. Can't remember for certain. It was a pile. The top was manual, and a pain in the butt to put up/take down, and stopped rain about as well as a screen door. Plus, even as a kid, I didn't fit in the back seat. I had to sit on one side, and drape my legs across the back to the other side. Only room for three in there, no second person in the back seat.
