Sadly, stuff just like that is what got Kinder Eggs banned. Bummer.

I have no idea. No Seatbelts, No Bike Helmets, used to play with Mercury that came in my Chemistry Set.
I was also the Neighborhood “Supplier” for Firecrackers, Ash Cans and Cherry Bombs. I had a good sized Arsenal back then.

“Candy coated popcorn, peanuts and a bar code, that’s what you get in Cracker Jack!”
Just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

I do not think I would qualify what is in the box as a “prize.” When I was a child, there were actually small toys...very cheap, but at least a real toy. My father told me that when he was a boy, there were actually little metal soldiers and the like. As a child, I thought that was so cool.

Big deal, the so called prizes were the absolute cheapest crapola for years now, there are many other brands of similar product that are better and a whole lot cheaper to buy, and make more sense to buy now thaat Cracker jack has blown up their brand.

Jacks are not very good anymore. They went downhill about 30 years ago.

Early treasure. I think I saw somewhere that folks collect the *early* Monopoly player pieces too.
