I don't blame the owner but isn't there a way to pay temporary housing until senior housing could be found that the lady's monthly income (SS, etc.) could afford?
Unfortunately that could take a year or two and even if Mr. Robbins was willing to pay the whole $900 the temporary rent would likely be at least double that in the Bay area (one-room "apartment").
Why can’t she just go to the On Loc Senior Center?
