The excellent historian Andrew Roberts (who is currently working on a biography of Churchill) is openly contemptuous about the content of ‘Dreams of my Father.’ Fantasies Of My Father and Grandfather would be a more accurate title. So much of the British/Mau Mau content is demonstrably false.
Can you point me to an article by Roberts? I am not coming up with anything in a search.
