By the time this is over, by the time the convention ends, there's something I would like to know that is the biggest puzzle here on Free Republic:
WHY do FR Cruzers support increased immigration, open Southern border, North American Union, TPA, TPP, resettlement of Syrians and other muslims into America, why would they support our jobs being sent offshore and our jobs still on our soil being done by massive new numbers of Indians, and finally why they would support trade agreements that KILL U.S. exports and provide hundreds of billions of dollar booms, money transferred out of the US, to China, etc.?
Is it worth a vanity? I was hoping I'd get some input from those like you and me who have shared on other threads.
It's a puzzle. It's similar to what we wondered at the beginning of Obama's presidency: is it STUPIDITY, or is it MALICIOUSNESS?
Apparently because Trump supporters are deranged. That is how they deal with reality - to deny the sanity of those who challenge their reality. Since it comforts them to know that Trump supporters are deranged, it is simply easier to admit that we are deranged. I hope it brings them some of the comfort they seek since what they seek is not a world comprehensible through a lens of objectivity.
And why in sandhill do you like Trump — support the Obama stimulus, Obama car bailout, Obama auto bailout, raising taxes on the rich, sending old men into little girls’ bathrooms, touchback amnesty, dumping two wives, and serial adultery. Keep up the good work.
Trump is going to make you and his other supporters like the biggest fools on Earth — and today was just the beginning, with the men into girls’ bathroom, more abortion and taxing rich positions. You’ll be on your knees begging for Ted Cruz after little Donald kneecaps you a few dozen times — from what you would call a Cruz roach, Trump kneeler.
So it’s either stupid or evil, eh? No possibility of principled disagreement?
And just an aside, I know of no Cruz supporters, on FR or in real life, who support an open border, a North American Union, or any of that other stuff. In fact, I can recall quite clearly facing off with a bunch of La Raza hooligans here in Cali with some folks who are now Cruz supporters back in 2006 during the last round of immigration “discussion”. Don’t recall seeing you there, so I won’t pretend to speak for you, but I’m pretty sure that I, and the other Cruz folks are not open border advocates.

They don't. Those are all lies repeated ad nauseum by Cruz bashers.
Take TPA and TPP for example. Cruz voted against both. Yet the lie keeps getting repeated that he voted against cloture and voted in favor of final passage. So your question is bogus. It is based upon a premise that is patently false.
Both. Add in the thought that some of these people must be paid to cause havoc.
It is simple. Follow the money. Paid hacks.
