... because Christians are known for the inability to read defenses and aren’t very accurate passers.

Another QB too dumb to play in the NFL. Poor Broncos fans.

I don’t think the NFL would let a team sign Tebow. They are more interested in players with the character of Manziel or the special attraction of Sam.

Last time I checked neither Sam or Manziel was on a team roster. Just like Tebow.

Denver will end up with Colin kaepernick

While I'm sure that San Francisco is kicking themselves for keeping Kapernick and letting Alex Smith get away it may be too late for the trade. Denver has Sanchez now. They're looking for a backup for him.

With a started like Sanchez they’re going to need a decent backup for his regularly scheduled second half of the season melt down.

Hence their search for a capable backup. But what does that have to do with Tebow?

Face it. Four teams have looked at Tebow and four teams have passed on Tebow. That's as good an indication as you can get that he doesn't have what it takes to make it at the pro level.

Bellicik tried him out and cut him.

If he had promise that would not have happened. Bellicik wants a good back up, even two at times. The old fired Denver coach who drafted him was the offensive coordinater when they let him go.

Just saying. I love Tebow, but no longer believe he was black balled. If any team would have gone against the league doing such a thing, it would have been New England.

I’d like to see Tebow as a John “The Diesel” Riggins RB. A team could use him as a 3rd down back, slot receiver, and 3rd string QB. Tebow won’t go for that, though.

When he was cut by New England, I knew what I suspected was simply true.

Love the guy, but I don't think he was black balled because he was a Christian.

New England picked him up because his coach at Denver was back at NE as quarterback coach. You are absolutely right... he was not an NFL level QB. I saw the Pats' preseason games with him, and he was awful.

To be fair, he was better in Denver because they had an option offense built around his strong points; NE wanted him to be a pocket passer so that if he was subbing for Brady, they could use the same offensive system as always. In that type of offense, his reads were painfully slow, and he was inaccurate with his passing. I'd really hoped he would make the grade, but there was no way.

I love the guy. Class act. Great values. Good in the locker room.

But he can't play quarterback at the NFL level.

he’s been signed by more teams than 90% of the players in the league. Gotten more shots than most. He’s got one glaring problem though:
he can’t complete a pass.

The league has room for talent. It doesn’t have room for cult leaders WITHOUT talent.

Probably because Tebow is not actually a good QB and it would damage Elway’s ability to function in the league if he’d lied to other GMs.
