I suffer from severe depression and never actually get out of it. Of course, it’s been worse for the past 2 years since my cherished husband died, because he was also a medical doctor with a practice in psychiatry.
I found a good psychiatrist here but it took 6 months with him before I had to tell him “to take charge.” He was ceding too much authority to me in deference to my late husband, and I wanted him to prescribe a med he thought suitable for me. He finally did, (the old Paxil) and Praise God, it’s working much better than Celexa.
I can’t recall the name of the most effective one, but my insurance doesn’t cover it.
RoosterRedux, you’re right about the physical exercise. I continue to wait for warm weather given that I canceled my gym membership.
God bless and keep you all.
I had no idea of your loss.
You are the sweetest person...and if I can ever help, please call on me.
I would crawl across burning coals to help.
You are in my prayers and foremost in my love of life.
Your Rooster.
Hang tough beloved Onyx. Hang tough.
I am just an ordinary person with a powerful prayer life, but like all of us here at FR, we love you and pray for your full recovery.
Just ask us and you will see how we will be there for you.
Love and prayers.
Your Rooster!
Hang tough, sweet Onyx, hang tough.
And listen for those prayers coming to you.
You can hear them when you are quiet...and when you listen. God will send them to your ears and your mind.
Hang tough and listen.
We all love you! Me most of all.
