It’s like there will always be a black center fielder in Washington. Hope Revere isn’t injured as much as Span was, especially last year.

Seems that way. I like MAT there but not at lead off. He needs to cut down on his strike outs. I thought he made progress in ST but it's not coming through so far this season SSS I know, but he's still striking out.

I too hope Revere's not seriously injured but as we all too well know with this team, obliques can take forever to heal.

Great game tonight. Some mistakes on the bases.

MAT will hopefully get taken under Baker’s wing. I agree about lead-off for the sake of the record, but there’s a chance throwing him in the fire like this will be good for him and he might adapt. That must be what Baker is thinking. Maybe this pays off.

I think the oblique was discovered on the human baseball player some time in the early 90’s. Then it wouldn’t shut up.
