Yes it has. However, how many products have any of the robotics companies come up with after being bought by Google? In fact, Google has bought a lot of stuff. Solar arrays, wind kites, robots, etc. How many of these "moonshot" companies have done anything after being bought by Google? Even their self driving cars. That was Stanford's DARPA challenge team that got bought by Google. Cars are starting to include self driving technologies, but they don't use Google's technology. They develop their own.
The reality of Google is far less than their hype.
