Hard to imagine any sort of armed revolution when the poorest people are the fattest.

LOL!

What's sad is that Simpsons episode is about 20 years old.

And guess what Homer's weight had to be to be disabled?

300lbs.

I see 300 lb. people all the time in my clinic.

Sometimes teenage boys.

From the story, the the name of the establishment is "Big Clobber".

Next door to "Giant Tile".

Sometimes the jokes just write themselves.

Reminds me of Orson Wells and Marlon Brando before they died.

I was having lunch in the hospital cafeteria today and couldn’t believe how many fat people were eating there—and they were all hospital employees! I had a fish sandwich, fries and a pepsi, and it was $3.98! How cool is that!?

The most I’ve ever weighed was just shy of 230. I had back pain and knee pain from just that. As a result, when I see someone truly obese shuffling around, I can’t help but think that it’s painful or at the very least uncomfortable. I managed to get the weight off after coming down with gout. Got it off and kept it off, haven’t crossed 200 lbs since, and it’s been at least 15 years. I sometimes miss beer, which apparently was a major contributor to gout in my case. I don’t drink much anymore, maybe a glass of wine with a nice dinner, or if I want a drink it’s a decent filtered vodka with tonic and lime.

I weighed about that much when I was weight lifting. Not much of it was fat...

Working out got me from 155 in high school to 195 in my late 20’s. After than was the usual story, work kept me from going to the gym, taking clients out to dinner, ate too well, enjoyed going out and having drinks with friends. I don’t think I’m genetically predisposed to ever getting really large, though.

At 36 years of age, I just recently went from a 30” waist to a 32” waist. I thought I was getting fat, but those trousers are ridiculous.

Nowadays too many desk jobs. And the other reason for obesity is Netflix. Lots of sitting going on in this country. I need to exercise more myself.

230? I think I weighed that in middle school. I’m currently about 330, built like a linebacker. Men in my dad’s family tend to be big dudes, and I’ve done a lot of lifting jobs and I do like to eat. My health is OK except for some leg pain from standing all day at my last couple of jobs. I’m trying to lose a few so I can fit in my kayak this summer. I’m about two cheeseburgers away from having a submarine!
