My neighbor got burgled and she pointed out the fingerprints on the windowsill - she asked about dusting for prints, and the cop just laughed at her.
Near this Target is a Kroger. Last year I saw 3 black men roaming the parking lot, casing cars to burglarize. I observed them for a while to confirm. They were brazen - This is on Main Street!
The police would not come. They said no crime had been committed yet.

In your town they still actually come out when a house is burglarized? Wow. Here they don’t. They’ll do a report over the phone so you can turn it into your insurance company but that’s it.
