(OREGON STANDOFF) Parents of standoff suspect respond to son's arrest (Jake Ryan)
Clark Fork Valley Press ^ | 4/7/2016 | Trip Burns

Posted on 04/08/2016 4:36:50 AM PDT by Nextrush

On Thursday morning, the parents of Oregon standoff suspect Jake Ryan responded with two hand-written statements delivered to the Clark Fork Valley Press.....

"How long do we set in our cozy homes, our secure jobs, our fake securities, while a few faithful honest men try to educate us on what is coming down in our nation? Words seem so useless, as our prisons fill with political prisoners. Are we so stupid, so blind, so lazy that we can't get out of our apathy chair, and stand for something. Has it been so long since 'we the people' stood for anything, that we've forgotten how to? We once shouted for freedom, now we whimper for security. Wake up people, before it's Too Late, for none are more enslaved then those who falsely believe they are free. My son, Jake believed this and now he sits in Fed. prison with so many others. Some would say 'It's better for now he is safe.'

Lavoy Finicum understood that 'safe is not as sweet as free.'

This applies sadly to myself as well, may we all wake up."

Roxsanna Ryan

"Maybe if more of us were like my son Jake who actually committed to stay at the Malheur Refuge to try and make a difference, some corrupt power seekers could be put behind bars where they belong and some honest family men who have done no harm to anyone could go home and raise their families."

Dan Ryan

First they came for the Hammonds, then they came for Bundy's then they came for Jake Ryan and we did......

Tough stuff, but on a higher plane than the political mud sling fest which doesn't really seem to change things in this country for the better.

We have been suckers for so long.

Good story and very sad.

As I have written too many times to count, we as freepers should at least help spread the truth by posting comments outside this choir of freepers. Post these types of comments to your local newspapers and to metro news sources so that free speech can rear its ugly head throughout the land.

We’re degrading as both a nation and as a people. We’ve lost so much that the requirements to ascend back to a level of freedom like we enjoyed in the 1920s and the 1950s are so incredible as to be impossible to achieve under the current conditions.

We’re all comfortable and fat. It’s only a matter of time before the butcher of the world comes to cull his herd.

It has to get worse before people decide to act. Times are not bad enough yet. I have a solution for all of this.

Coming for the Hammonds was at the end of a long-term process to deprive "we the people" of our God endowed personhood.

The term 'person' originated in Christian theologies developmental struggle to comprehend the nature and experience of the transcendent, personal Triune God:

"The derivative concept of human personhood is a gift of the Christian faith to culture…” (Stephen P. Stratton, Chapter 14, p. 247, The Self, Paul Vitz & Susan M. Felch, Editors)

Vishal Mangalwadi, India's foremost Christian scholar affirms that the Christian gift of personhood gave birth to the "belief in the unique dignity of human beings," and this is,

"...the force that created Western civilization, where citizens do not exist for the state but the state exists for the individuals. Even kings, presidents, prime ministers, and army generals cannot be allowed to trample upon an individual and his or her rights." (Truth and Transformation: A Manifesto for Ailing Nations, pp. 12-13)

The Constitution therefore, recognizes the divine nature of man's creation, that man is a person endowed by his personal Creator with spiritual property, a divine right to life and liberty, and the means of acquiring and possessing property:

"It is sufficiently obvious, that persons and property are the two great subjects on which Governments are to act; and that the rights of persons, and the rights of property, are the objects, for the protection of which Government was instituted. These rights cannot well be separated." (James Madison, Speech at the Virginia Convention, December 2, 1829)

"How does one determine whether a law is just or unjust? A just law is a man-made code that squares with the moral law or the law of God. An unjust law is a code that is out of harmony with the moral law. To put it in the terms of St. Thomas Aquinas: An unjust law is a human law that is not rooted in eternal law and natural law." (Martin Luther King, Excerpts from his Letter from the Birmingham Jail, Apr. 16, 1963)

In keeping with Christian thought, George Washington and Benjamin Franklin connect personhood, virtue and self-control with individual freedom:

"Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters." Benjamin Franklin, quoted in Born Liberal Raised Right, p. 15)

Conversely, they implicitly connect rejection of our Creator (hence our personhood)to lack of self-control and man's sin nature (pride, covetousness, lying, etc) issuing in corruption, anarchy, and barbarism:

"The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence. If "Thou shalt not covet" and "Thou shalt not steal" were not commandments of Heaven, they must be made inviolable precepts in every society before it can be civilized or made free." (John Adams, A Defense of the American Constitutions, 1787, patriotpost.us)

By replacing our Creator with science and evolution, "we the people" have been reduced to bio-machines--accidental emergent products of unseen forces acting on matter. Likewise, the Law of God is reduced to nothing, thereby relegating the Constitution to the dustbin of history. As Fyodor Dostoevsky said, if the true God is dead then all things, no matter how evil, are possible.

Who came to Mountain Meadows when the secessionist ponzi-scheming cult of blood atonement was doing what it has always done?

Evidently "TO SECURE THESE RIGHTS" wasn't a consideration when Jose Smith and the Deseret king makers were constituting the government of Mormonism - "America's Islam".

NO SALE.

>>Coming for the Hammonds

The state-established blood cult the Hammonds and Bundy’s are members of has little to do with Christianity.

What epic words!

We need to get back control of our schools from the Leftic Radicals, and these epic words need to be part of one paragraph in a chapter on our decade in our history books!

I am a big time investor - and for the first time, I am not making this up folks - an investor analyat I was listening to said for the first time I have ever heard such at the risk of the government coming after him, that his strong advice is things are going to be so bad when the debt crisis hits the fan that he advices us all to buy guns and ammo now because the police won’t be able to be there for us when we turn into Baltimore in the economic turmoil.

Safety? Part of real safety is your freedom to be your OWN safety for you and your family. And the enemies are not only already here, but being brought in by hordes by the agendists - the Leftic (cultic, like Islamic who they are in an unholy alliance with) who want to bring about the cultural genocide of America. They also promote the time bomb and the land mines meant to purposely blow up our economy like a terrorist bomb.

Trump is so right - a very bad, very, very bad recession is coming unless we stop them.

Agree on your first two sentences.

“Talk to My Mortgage Professionals now!”

“I think it’s a great time to start a mortgage company,”  Trump told a CNBC interviewer in April 2006, adding that “the real estate market is going to be very strong for a long time to come.”
