I am saying Ted Cruz should stand down, give the nomination to Donald Trump (who is way ahead in the delegate count now) and the two of them should get together to oppose the DEMOCRAT.

Go Trump.

He couldn't beat anyone. He is done.

And yet Trump has garnered over 2 million more votes in the primaries than Cruz and 290 more delegates...

If Trump is done then Cruz is dead and buried.

No David, that is not true.
Trump polls four (4) points higher with women than Cruz according to the latest Pew poll on FR posted today. Perhaps in 2020, Iowa will finally pick a winner.

And if Ted loses more than 34 more delegates, he can not win the 1237 that he needs.

How the hell does anybody know how the general election will shake out— you have millions in ads— vp picks— conventions and debates and possible indictments... To guess now is pointless..

This is pure hogwash!

A huge Trump loss in the general elections is certain and this will ripple down the ballot and put the Senate, the House, and state governors and legislators in grave jeopardy. And of course propel Hillary into the White House. Trump’s negatives at 70% with women who make up 53% of the electorate makes him not only unelectable by an standards, but assures landslides victories for Hillary or Bernie.

And when that occurs, Trumpkins will blame everybody else and their grandmother except themselves. Trump appears to put himself first above country and is willing to risk an independent run to satisfy his ego. Why? Because he truly believes the Trumpkins will morph into Trumpoids even if it means careening over the cliff.

... And yet somehow Trump has almost twice the number of delegates as Cruz.

You are completely wrong.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

Trump is going to win a (lot) democrats votes, with his pro-America jobs position.

Trump’s problem is not the general election, where he will win big. It is a bunch of very motivated but entirely wrong supporters of Ted Cruz who just will not let go of their fantasy that Ted Cruz will be the next president.

He might of been, if he had run a stronger campaign and won more votes. But that day is past.

Now all of the Ted Cruz support is really, just a bunch of supporters of the GOPe, trying to mess up the election, and give the process back to the very same GOPe who none of us on this entire website, support.

I know you mean well, all of you.

But Ted Cruz is not going to be our next president.

He just won’t be.

It will be Donald Trump, or else the nominee of the GOP will be given to some undeserving flunky, of the powers who have so misrepresented us for an entire generation, and Hillary will be our next president.

That is a fact.

Lighten up, and start to recognize that Ted Cruz, as much as you support him, cannot be our next president.

He can however, become the cog which messes things up for Donald Trump and the majority of GOP voters.

And America.

OK ,How do they do that?Trump is going to lose Wisconsin which might be the first head to head after Rubio and Cruz pick up all the votes not Trump. It would be crazy for Cruz to drop out now since he seems to be picking up the other then Trump vote.

Cruz will not be our next president.

It won’t happen. Cruz can only mess things up for Trump, and get some GOPe flunky elected instead.

All of you Cruzers need to recognize, your guy is now a representative, for the very people he was originally running AGAINST.

I’m series.

Cruz couldn't even get 50% of his home state and your saying that Trump is done when the ONLY one who can & IS bringing back the Reagan democrats is Trump. Reagan democrats, a vital key to winning in November, will not vote for Cruz, no how, no way!

So go back and look at Reagans numbers in 1980... they all said he would fail too, yet he went on to win and Trump's numbers are higher than what Reagan's were at this point in the primaries. No sir, the one who is done is the natural born Canadian Cruz Liner LIAR!

Apparently you distrust all the recent polls! Even in California, a recent USC/LA Times poll now show Trump and Cruz at 36%/35% and, with Kasich (who is screwing up things for Cruz) at 14%. Trump is collapsing in every demographic.

Look...the American people are politically stupid. If there’s 60 million Americans dumb enough to vote for Obama, there’s 60 million Americans dumb enough to vote for Trump.
