Together they have eliminated the entire field , and are forcing the GOPe to resort to dirty pool in order to slip in somebody other then one of them at the convention . These are two very smart men who met in NY last year . Ever wonder what they discussed at that time ? This " feud " is getting so ridiculous it dawned on me that perhaps Trump and Cruz hatched this idea way back when , and agreed to throw support to whomever got the most delegates in the primaries , assuming it would be one of them . Looks like Trump will have the most . I now believe that just before the convention that Trump and Cruz will make a joint announcement informing everyone of this secret plan they had , shoving sand in the face of the establishment . Cruz will support Trump and get the VP spot . Am I nuts ?

Yes, their plan is to get everyone mad at both of them, then they will jointly endorse Bernie.
And when all is said & done, mitt romney can single handedly take credit for losing two presidential elections (12 & 16) to weak beatable dems.
Many Trump supporters, especially all of the new people he has brought into the fold, would feel BETRAYED and NOT vote for that ticket. So would some of the Cruz and Trump supporters here. It's a sure way to insure a DEM win.

I don’t disagree with anything you say. However, my point is that Trump understands the role of theater in politics (as did Reagan). I much prefer Trump to Cruz for some of the same reasons as yours. But, I also like them as a team.

I’m worried its a plan made by Rubio and someone else behind the scenes deep in the establishment. I’ve felt it had a taste of Little Rubio all along. He has no where to go if its not him. It has to be someone with more brains than Rubio to be the one moving the chess pieces.
