And I hear he used swear words when talking to the troops, and, oh the PETA of it, he enjoyed fox-hunting.

Patton’s actions were unacceptable, at least to Eisenhower and the CIC. Patton was taken out of the fight as a result.

Patton apologized for his inappropriate behavior and later worked his way back into a position of responsibility.
