So you suspect it might be a one-two punch? All orchestrated?

First the ‘slut-shaming’ and then eight women named in a fake scandal all to frame up Trump.

I wondered that too, but not enough info out to know for sure.

The thign is, five women were named. Now there is talk of three others.

I don’t know.

And bear in mind that Pecker is Trump’s friend. [NE editor.]

How easy is it to trick Pecker? He would not want to put out something that blows up in his face. This goes far beyond a typical tinfoil tabloid hoax.

How easy is it to trick Pecker?

The way a tabloid makes its money is by weighing each story's risk/reward.

The risk of a story like this--legal liability, that is--is huge so you can be sure extra due diligence was exercised to test its authenticity.

Furthermore, the Gawker/Hulk Hogan verdict would send a chilling note to all publishers of potentially damaging stories.

No. I suspect that the affairs are real and Cruz knew that it was about to come out. The Trump attack was a cynical diversionary ploy to take out Trump at the same time.
