About 4 years ago, I talked to my private doctor about a shingles shot. He said he approved of them and that I should get one and to go ahead and get it at the VA due to its high cost, I believe he said about $350.00. My VA doctor agreed and gave me the shot. I think the VA charged me $8.00
I'm 72 and have no problems.

My son had it under age 50 and he never had Chicken Pox...but he was exposed when my other son and daughter had it. Not always older folk get it. Get the danged shot, no matter the cost.
