A “large number” of doctors in certain EU member states still view homosexuality as a disease, a report has revealed. Euroefe reports.
“The research also shows that there are still quite a number of healthcare professionals in several EU member states who believe LGBT people suffer from pathological diseases,” said Michael O’Flaherty, the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA).
A recent FRA report found that Bulgaria, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia are the EU countries where this misconception is most widely held.
This negative view of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people held by groups of professionals like doctors and politicians is a barrier to efforts to end discrimination and stop hate crimes, according to the report. …

There are lots of people who never in their life are sexually or romantically attracted to the opposite sex, but do have these feelings toward the same sex. These people are 100% gay.
There is always an external cause for such inclinations.
That is just your opinion. I think the evidence points in the opposite direction in general. Eventually this will be settled by a better scientific understanding of the brain.
When the CDC reports that those who call themselves gay and not straight are a mere 1.7 percent of the population, it is a fringe enclave that reinforces its own behavior and not genetic as the left claims.
The fact that homosexuals comprise a relatively small percentage group makes it even more likely that this is caused by a disordered wiring of the brain. Clearly many people have realized that they were gay without ever having had contact with "gay culture" or wanting to be part of an outcast group. Even if genetics is not involved at all, this could still be due to factors originating in gestation.

It’s all quite complicated but the science on what causes same-sex attraction hasn’t changed - the largest factor is the environment in which we’re raised. Scientists who are attracted to the same sex agree because that’s what the evidence supports. Where do you get your information?
