The leftist, liberals/progressives appear to feel that what is happening in Europe is simply payback for what European colonialists did to conquer underdeveloped countries.

Their banal expressions of sympathy are simply insulting.

I'm seeing that opinion.. IIRC Limbaugh expressed it also.

I am reminded of the best and brightest Sacramento Bee brains' feelings about 9/11. It was partly our fault for not paying the necessary and proper attention to the rest of the world.

From Hussein's perspective vis-a-vis as a ruling class member there are many similarities between capitalism and communism.

But in communism the ruling class members are above the law (while they remain in favor).

IMO that is why so many rich back leftists like Hussein. They expect to keep their wealth, status, and acquire immunity from the law.
