It is not a Geneva Convention issue. It is the Hague Convention that forbids expanding bullets and we are not a signatory to the Hague Convention.

My bad, thanks for the correction...grateful for the lesson .... but I do have the letter...:o)

When we were tasked with narcotics interdiction missions, law enforcement and military JTF-6 in central and south america, late 80’s we were allowed to carry hollow point by letter.

I’m all for going gold dot on the enemy. Hope uncle sugar approves....

There was a time when adherence to the convention was enforced by summary execution of any enemy captured with expanding bullets. We might want to comply even if we have not signed.
