I am a Cruz supporter, but I am appalled that he missed the opportunity to tell the American people that what we saw last night was professional left-wing political correctness writ large.
He could have used it to attack the left — which always needs attacking — and passionately stand-up for freedom of speech.
He could have condemned the protesters for being left-wing Brown Shirts - Bernie supporters, modern college students who oppose the first amendment by 70% (if I correctly recall a recent poll), and culturally Marxist black leftists who support thuggery and disorder like they did in Ferguson, based on lies.
Frankly, I am disgusted and stunned by Cruz’s response.
I predict Cruz, Rubio, Bush and the gopE will campaign for Hillary. If they don’t do it actively she will use their statements in videos constantly. Hopefully it’ll backfire and ruin the gope forever.
