I just realized that this is "The Delphi Technique", writ large.

Remember when Trump blamed Pam Gellar for the Draw Mohammad Contest shootings? I do.

Remember when Ted Cruz claimed to be the Consistent Constitutionalist?

I do.

Well, unless it comes to the First Amendment Rights of one of his political opponents... LOL!

Good answer.

Cruz didn’t have to blame Trump when it was moveon, Sanders, Ayers and BLM. That was retarded.

Donald Trump also hammered Gov. Kasich for his support of NAFTA and TPP.

Good move...

I cannot deal with the rampant insanity on this site today.

Trump HAS used over the top violent rhetoric.

That cannot be denied.

And you trumpers applauded it.

So if he incited a bunch of thugs, he is at least partially responsible.

It is ridiculous to say that Cruz chose a side.

He certainly did not choose mob rule.

It is beyond lunacy to say that Ted Cruz chose a lawless side.

Cannot you people support trump without going full blown insane?

Didn’t trump encourage people at one of his events to punch a protester and then say he’d pay the legal bills for anyone who did so? He might not have been serious - and I’m sure he wasn’t - but that’s the kind of rhetoric that leads to this. That’s the point Cruz and others are making. If you encourage your teen age daughter to behave like a slut.....don’t think you had nothing to do with it when she comes home pregnant with an STD.

Ted Cruz, the Inconsistent Conservative, strikes again! First Amendment Rights for Ted, but not for his political opponent, Trump.

How GOPee of Teddy... :)

Oh, and this is just for YOU, wny, for your Palin slur earlier:

"Ted Cruz endorsement fails as Ted Cruz fails to win more than 50% of the vote in Texas"

Why doesn't Cruz believe in Trump's First Amendment Rights, altura?

I thought Cruz was a Constitutionalist.

They said he was partially at fault because of the thug, violent language he uses at his rallies.

And trumpers applaud it.

So he aroused a lot of support and a lot of anger.

He’s trying to play the hero now and he is not the hero.

The point is that Trump brags about his large rallies.

He scheduled one in Chicago.

So far, so good.

But the people who comprise these mobs saw an opportunity for widespread coverage of their rally.

And they got it in spades.

He does use violent rhetoric all the time so it’s not totally out of bounds to mention that.

You don’t make sense.

Did Trump exhort his supporters to swarm a campaign appearance by Sanders or Hillary?

Did Trump command his bots to rush the stage of Cruz, Rubio, Kasich or any of the others?

Has Trump urged violence or protest or even organized demonstrations againt ANY of his opponents?

His opponents are attacking TRUMP’S supporters, his opponents are trying to shout down Trump, and some of them are apparently attempting to do him physical harm.

And yet you are blaming Trump?

I may not be an unequivocal supporter of the man...but what I hear from people like you seems crazy to me...blaming the candidate for the anger and violence of his opponents...

We get it. You don't support the First Amendment.

Otherwise, you'd be up in arms over violent thugs dancing in the streets after violently preventing someone from exercising their First Amendment Rights.

That is exactly right.

Trump is running on his pugnacious nature, his willingness to be violent.

That got turned around on him.

According to the trumpers, Trump never does wrong and if he does do wrong, it’s Ted Cruz’s fault.

OMG..nobody sided with the rioters.

Are you certifiable?

As pointed out by other posters here, Trump thinks it’s just adorable to promote violence in his rhetoric.

It’s not.

So when violence happens, it is logical and justifiable to point out that Trump himself promotes violence.

over the top violent rhetoric.

When America was great, telling your people that you’d like to kick that protestor’s butt would have been considered correct and patriotic.

Cruz AND Rubio showed his true colors...YELLOW.

Cruz believes in Trump’s first amendment rights to free speech but we all know what one says can have consequences.

Trump has advocated punching protesters, etc.

That is so thuggish and not presidential. Who would say that?

Cruz could talk a protester around to his side in a nice way and gain a supporter.

Are you serious? Trump was supposed to de-escalate the large crowds of thugs already seated in the hall before he even arrived? Trump and company were sucker punched by a local security company that was supposed to keep things in order. They did just the opposite. Only eight officers dispatched in the hall and by many accounts they did very little to neutralize the mayhem.

Read up on the facts before you start strutting your machismo.
