I will agree that there is a distinction between natural-born and naturalized. However, upon looking at past legal arguments . . . natural-born and naturalized are not mutually exclusive.
Running our own version of Obama?? Y'all might feel that way, however for myself and others, the issue with Obama was . . . did he lie to gain entrance into Columbia University?
Obama clearly with purpose and design, was less than fully honest in the disclosure of his birth certificate. Of course that led to the out roar, what is he covering up? Cruz, when asked in 2013 by the Dallas Morning Newspaper submitted his birth certificate within weeks and there was no question of its authenticity
If I had know I was eligible to be President of the Unites States, I would have perhaps became a lawyer or maybe a community organizer. .

You can be naturalized in a country where you are NOT natural born... but you cannot be natural born in a country you are naturalized in. You cannot be both in the same country.

This is not about Obama. It’s about systematically de-legitimizing our constitution. We now have 8 years of unconstitutional law under Obama because he is a usurper, and with Cruz as president there would certainly be no way to stop it and reverse the damage done.
Am thinking political ideology influences more folks to the conclusion of this issue than the facts.

Not by itself... no. It has a lot of help... mainly Obamacare which follows Social Security and medicare, Gold Standard abandonment, Federal income tax, etc.

As a nation we have generally succeeded in protecting our borders from foreign invasion, but we have failed to keep our generations protected from believing the lie that we are not accountable to God as a Nation founded UNDER Him.

Did your mother get her citizenship when you were five or six? You may have been at her ceremony and the officials were just being nice to a restless little boy by letting you say the Pledge too.
Disagree. Cruz is a citizen but he is not a natural born citizen. A natural born citizen is a child born of two U.S. citizen parents on U.S. soil (including overseas military installations).

Well it was getting close to 50 years ago. But I did get the form out of my safe.
It is a Form N-560 rev 3-1-61.

You are eligible to apply for the United States Certificate of Citizenship if you obtained U.S. citizenship while residing in the United States or if you were born outside the United States to U.S. citizens

Those who filed the citizenship application are asked ten questions, and must answer at least six with the expected answers. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services have published a list of 100 sample questions from which the questions asked are always drawn. It is a violation of US code (and punishable as such) to copy, print, photograph or otherwise illegally use this certificate.
Time to put this to rest. But I’ve always believed I was not eligible to be POTUS because I was not born on US soil. I’m sure the debate will continue.
On a side not I did notice my birth certificate was signed by a Chief Warrant Officer 2. That was in 1958.
