He wouldn’t.
Cruz can’t beat Trump. How can he beat Clinton? Beat Trump and start chirping.

I agree that I do not believe that in the technical sense Trump would be a better President. Cruz would be better on the constitution.
It comes down for me who has the best chance to win and truly shake up the current political status quo. Cruz cannot do that. He will be co-opted or worked around. Trump cannot be ignored and he will make those who are not willing to change pay the price.
Cruz isn’t going to win the nomination.
That’s the biggest difference between Trump and Cruz.
