I met an old timer that was stationed at Hanford back in the 50s. He told me there were clouds of yellow gas coming out of the earth and scattered puddles of radioactive liquid waste. he was in his 80s when I met him and had developed cancer.
If folks knew about some of the things the early nuke program did, they’d hide under their bed.
