Cruz wouldn’t pick Trump either so it’s a wash.
Why is it that people think a nominee has to select one of his campaign adversaries? A smart choice would be someone who would work well with the nominee. We are building an effective working group, not a panel of political celebrities.
I do NOT THINK Bush and Cheney worked well together EVER!!! bush NEEDED Cheney’s knowledge they were TOTALLY MISMATCHED!!! IMO!!!
