At one time that would have been my fondest desire. Today, after the shock subsides, it would need to be mulled and tossed around a bit. There are hurdles for Cruz to overcome, but if Trump should see him as a fit prospect who are we to doubt? And how angry would Trump become if he offered to Cruz a highly sought after slot? How angry would Cruz be? Could the two put aside past differences. And how about those many American citizens who might still be in the dark regarding Cruz. Those who at one time supported him and now find him lacking? This is where the mulling and tossing will be well used. Like Scarlett, we’ll think about that tomorrow.
I look at Trump as a mentor for Cruz!!! Cruz could be ready in four years to take this mess over, after four years of Trump it will be back on track and easier for Cruz to step in!!! I DO NOT think Trump had ANY desire to stay more than four!!!!
