Yes, the abuse button does work. Be scrupulous in following the rules, and expect the same. I have no reluctance whatsoever to turn people in for cretinous behavior. I’ve turned myself in a couple times.

I was an open and notorious democrat on this website for the better part of 3 or 4 years and to date, I’ve never been so much as warned. There is a reason. I stay within the rules and the intent of the site. And I expect the same out of others.

Nope. I was an open and notorious democrat on this website for 3 or 4 years. Posted routinely. I have over 15,000 posts under my belt to date. Want to take a guess as to how many warnings I’ve gotten over that time? How many suspensions?

Report as spam. They will never take you off their list.
Also, email providers keep metrics on spam reports. Thats how they decide which email addresses to block. The spam you report might prevent future spam for others.
Just damn. My dad was a WWII naval aviator, his little bro a seaman in the Pacific, my mom’s bro was captured in France ... never quite recovered from the starvation camp. My bros served during WWNam, my cousin was blown out of his tank, but survived. I did not serve, but I revere those who did, and those who do, and their families.
