Pizza Vs. Bagels: Which Iconic New York Treat Do You Prefer?

When I used to work in radio, the station general manager took us all out for pizza one day. He was originally from New York. He said this one place on the North Side (in Spokane, WA, of all places) served REAL authentic pizza. In describing the owner, he said, "This guy? He's pie-zan." Turned out to be really good New York-style pizza.

I also used to make bagels as a job. I like each equally well. A good onion bagel, toasted, with cream cheese and bacon....oh, yeah.
