Have you tried a codeine cough syrup?

Take some honey and some vodka, heat a little in the microwave - cough gone and you get a buzz! :)

We’ve tried multiple kinds. I just cough right through it.
The only thing that seems to SOMEWHAT help are Ricola cough drops.

One good chunk of garlic, 1 large teaspoon of honey, some vinegar, blended with a raw beet. You can add a teaspoon of Tasters Choice instant coffee in one tall glass of water. End of cough.

Is it a result of the dry air that forced heat systems pump out? My sinuses have been killing me the last few weeks due to it. Believe it or not I actually find relief going outside in the cool damp air.
Perhaps a humidifier would help?

Have you checked with your doctor about the possibility that it might be whooping cough?
Seriously. A guy in my church has it right now. He’s had a cough and general “cold type sickness” for two months now.
Whooping cough is not just for kids, and isn’t completely gone from the USA.

Advil (or generic ibuprofen). Lessen the inflammation, lessen the cough.

Bronchitis If you have acute bronchitis, you may have a nagging cough that lingers for several weeks after the inflammation resolves. Chronic bronchitis is defined as a productive cough that lasts at least three months, with recurring bouts occurring for at least two consecutive years.

Natural honey, herbal tea with lemon juice.
Yum!
Also, put 2 books under the head of your bed to elevate your head a little .
