Do you guys really not catch on why Rush, for the first time, really, has said even five sentences favorable to Rubio this week?

Rubio’s 8x repeat of the line that obama knows exactly what he is doing, and has therefore been successful at tearing the country to shreds == is a line Rush has been using since year one of this administration. I believe he was merely saying this week to cut Rubio slack at least on that (correct) point.

Rush gives Cruz huge plaudits today for being as tough as they come, certainly not a pussy. And he gave Trump credit for being smooth enough to downplay the pussy comment in the rally, to scold it, and to tsk tsk it, and then, when the crowd demanded it, to say, oh,OK, she called him a pussy, which is bad, really, really bad.

Hes been very evenhanded, and sorry that he has disappointed so many who either think he’s a homer for one or the other, or that they wish he’d endorse their guy.

And, for goodness sake, if you don’t even bother to listen, it’s ill-informed to criticize what he says, or the tone of his commentary.

I’m diggin Rush these days, as I have for 27 years.

Spot on, Migraine. On EVERY point. Half these peeps here apparently aren’t listening...it worries me.

Jim Robinson; you’ve got a problem with YOUR base.

Maybe because we’ve never had even 1 real conservative winning since ‘84....not to mention 2 of ‘em.

Agree with you. Seemed Rush was just pointing out that Rubio’s statement was correct, but that got lost in the chaos. It IS possible for Rubio to have some valid viewpoints, and be off track on others. Seems ALL the candidates suffer that human frailty. None are perfect.

Rush isn’t endorsing any of them and clarifies that repeatedly, he’s just discussing the events, the candidates, and the possibilities - it seems to me.

I’m surprised there’s so much hostility about Rush. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t. He’s an icon of the conservative movement. Does be really deserve all this vitriol?

Correct!

Rush’s minor failing is that he will support those who prove him right as Rubio did with his 4X speech. Now, Rush will move on from him.

You’re completely correct. Rush has been very even-handed with Trump, Cruz and Rubio, and has said numerous times he’s not endorsing anybody. It’s obvious we have yay-hoos on this thread who click on the radio for five minutes and hear Rush say something complimentary about one of the candidates and, boom, HE’S IN THE TANK FOR THAT GUY!!! Been through a lot of elections around here, never seen so many uninformed, juvenile simpletons.

Excellent post, Migraine!

I've listened to 95% of Rush's shows for decades. There is NO WAY he is in the tank for Rubio. You've accurately described why Rush has been talking about -- NOT endorsing -- Marco Rubio recently.

I've heard Rush every day during this long primary season... Some days he gives kudos to his good friend Donald Trump, other times it's Cruz. A few times he has praised some things Rubio said. It is laughable to think he would endorse Rubio in the GOP primaries.

I've been a big fan of El Rushbo since March 1991...

Sad to say, some of the people who say they listen (or used to listen until they got mad at him) and who are dissing him here, never really listen to Rush. If they did, they would discover exactly it's exactly what you just wrote.

He has definitely been pimping Rubio lately. Not surprisingly it started right after Iowa. When so many other so-called conservative media members and establishment elite politicians started jumping on the pimp Marcobot bandwagon. When the MSM totally ignored Cruz and made Marco the center of all news, I wondered who else would come out of the woodwork shilling for him. In other words, who else was under establishment control. Right on cue, Rush Limbaugh started pimping Marco.

If it had been just about Rubio’s repeat of the line, I wouldn’t have thought anything about it. But it wasn’t just that. Rush didn’t stop there. He told us how new to the senate naive Marco made a mistake when he joined the gang of 8. But living in Florida, Rush knows better than that. Marco didn’t just make a mistake. Rush knows that Marco was pro-amnesty before he even ran for the senate because of his behavior as FL speaker of the house. I’m sure he knows all about the report the Eagle Forum put together detailing Rubio’s utter contempt for the promises he made the TEA party in Florida who helped elect him.

Rubio wasn’t just a member of the gang of 8. He was their designated point man chosen specifically to do what McCain, Grahamnesty, and Flake could not do. Rubio could use the good will he built up with conservatives to force amnesty down their throats. Which he did without a second thought, over and over, for both Schmucky Schumer and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook. Day after day in commercials and interviews on conservative media we heard how real conservatives love bringing illegals into our country.

The conservatives in Florida were very upset that Marco had broken his promise to us and was selling the entire country down the river. To this day, Rubio, our native son and sitting junior senator, is barely able to get 20 percent of the vote in his home state. He’s not running for re-election to the senate merely because he’s bored in there. He probably would not even win his seat back. The gang of 8 plan to let Marco be point man convincing conservatives to accept amnesty (which would never be called amnesty) would have worked too if God had not allowed the brave citizens of Virginia to throw Eric Cantor out of office.

Rush Limbaugh knows how Marco used the conservative media to tell lies and manipulate people, yet he says give him another chance. Marco just made a mistake. So why is he doing this? Either he is an idiot, lying and/or something way worse. I don’t believe Rush is an idiot. He is lying and he is probably something way worse. I don’t believe it’s for the money. That’s Marco’s lure. Rush has plenty. Whatever it is, he has sold out his audience because of it.

Obviously Rush could NOT hear jack-in-the-box Rubio. Rubio sounded more like he was trying to convince himself that Obama knows exactly what he is doing..... I would have a dot of respect if Rubio had apologized for running head first into obama's bed trying to give him is 'dream act'.

Rubio’s 8x repeat of the line that obama knows exactly what he is doing, and has therefore been successful at tearing the country to shreds == is a line Rush has been using since year one of this administration. I believe he was merely saying this week to cut Rubio slack at least on that (correct) point.

JFKerry thinks he is really doing good and important works, when he talks too. What has changed by Rush saying repeatedly, Obama knows exactly what he is doing,....? Geeze, A Republican controlled Congress cannot write Obama's checks fast enough... could it be that there is complicity to destroy US?

Rush gives Cruz huge plaudits today for being as tough as they come, certainly not a pussy. And he gave Trump credit for being smooth enough to downplay the pussy comment in the rally, to scold it, and to tsk tsk it, and then, when the crowd demanded it, to say, oh,OK, she called him a pussy, which is bad, really, really bad.

Yeah, I saw a real tough guy, when asked about 'waterboarding'.. hooking up with lord McCain is a sure sign of strength.

Hes been very evenhanded, and sorry that he has disappointed so many who either think he’s a homer for one or the other, or that they wish he’d endorse their guy.

The crisis this country faces continue to mount regardless of what Rush says or does not say.

And, for goodness sake, if you don’t even bother to listen, it’s ill-informed to criticize what he says, or the tone of his commentary.

I just read, which is all Rush can do these days, what you say Rush said...

I’m diggin Rush these days, as I have for 27 years.

But your screen name still says 'Migraine'!
