As a former French Horn player this is my favorite. It is more melodic than the other 3 and much easier to play.

Of course the “French Horns” in Mozart’s time did not have valves and were not chromatic. The composer had to know the limitations of the instrument in order to make a composition playable by the musician.

I’ve always wondered why there are both French and English horns. Why not both English and French saxophones, for example? I figure you know that history.
