Why do the talking heads and all the experts on television continue to get it wrong.
It is the Democrat Party, not the Democratic Party.
It is the Democrat candidate, not the Democratic candidate.
It is the Democrat primary, not the Democratic primary.
It is the Democratic voters, not the Democratic voters.
Every network and every commentator states it wrong. CNN is the worst, with their teletype continually misrepresenting. All credibility is lost, their ignorance shows.
Have I reached election overload this early? Or does it bother anyone else like it bothers me?
Actually some conservatives used “Democrat Party” even before Limnbaugh was a national figure. Bob Dull used it in his 1976 “debate” with his friend Walter F. Mondull. Mondale said that Dole is not “a mean and vicious man. He just performed poorly that night” when Dole spoke of “Democrat wars”.
YES! The Democrat Party media affiliates (organs) known as the "main stream media" suddenly changed the color mapping from red = "Democrat" to blue = "Democrat." Why? Because red is the color used to represent communism/socialism. And the Democrats of course don't want to be so publicly associated with such an odious political philosophy. (Even though that's what they advocate for America.)

I have the answer:
I’m not sure where it started, but there were a lot of us here who started spelling Democrats .. as .. DemocRATS .. and the RATS got offended; as they so often do.
So, they changed the name to Democratic .. in hopes of keeping us of using the true ending of RATS.
However, being the rebel I am .. I love saying DemocRATS.
I just call them the dims. Their worldview is dim. Their supporters are dim. Their results are dim.
Okay, since 1844 (I think) the Rats have been calling themselves The Democratic Party.
There is a long history of their political opponents taking offence, noting that there is nothing Democratic about the Democrat Party.
I guess they can call their party whatever they want, so the “proper” name is the Democratic Party.
It is a sign of derision to refer to them as the Democrat Party - at least in their eyes - so I shall continue to refer to them as such.
Pet peeve of mine also. Nothing democratic about the Democrat party.
It started about 12 years ago. The Democrats figured out that Democratic sounded better. So they sort of changed their name unofficially. They call them selves Democrats. But they call the part the Democratic party. But they will say that people should vote Democrat. And they have the word Democrat on the ballots. Its just a try at double speak. The press started calling it the democratic party because the Democrats kept correcting them. There were even some news stories on it.
Republicans are always Republicans never Republics. And its never the Republic party.
I do but I prefer red. Red is bright and cheerful. Blue is sad and depressing.

I grew up in a Democratic family with Democrats. When did the word change?
As far as I’m concerned, it’s Democrat. Then and now.
The rats I know consider Democrat a insult. It has always been the Democratic party.
Democrat Party is offensive to RATS and is considered a swear word. At one time, using “democrat” would set their hair on fire.

One hallmark of the Left is that everything is considered political and thus everything must become propaganda.
It is not accidental that “red” and “blue” have been canonized by the DemocRAT media as they have been. Think “true blue” and “better red than dead”; the natural association of the law-abiding Right with blue, and of the communist-loving Left with red could not be allowed to stand.
See the graphic at the below URL to show that the nearly-consistent use of blue for Republicans and red for Democrats was reversed and formalized in all three networks in 1992.
They - the Enemedia - never miss a trick. This is just one more instance of the Left calling up down, and left right.

Red means Danger!; red means Stop! Blue, in contrast, is known to have a calming, soothing effect; it therefore implies safety and sanity.
Nothing systematic that the leftist media does is accidental or neutral; it is all designed to defeat and destroy us.
We see ballots where the dumb SOBs have on one side "Republican" and on the other side "Democratic"
I think the Dems started this because they were getting a lot of grief about the "'Rat" monniker. Of course the MSM fell in line. It's been this way so long, young adults think that's the real name of the Democrat party. The Party of Deceit + dumbed down education = an ignorant generation.

I have always noticed that bastardization of the English language. If they’re going to say ‘Democratic’ Party then they should also say ‘Republicanistic’ Party.
