Would someone please tell me why it seems cool to let your bra straps show now - see it on many TV shows.
It wasn’t all that long ago that my friends and I would let each other know if one was showing and we would quickly adjust and/or we would watch on our own if we had tank tops on. If one thought the straps might show, there were (are) a variety of bras - strapless, cut in back straps, etc. to alleviate.
Sorry to get off topic, but that is one thing that bugs me. I’m not a prude, but it just looks a bit trashy to me. Apparently this the new normal - ugh!
Trash IS the new normal in the USA. From Wal-Mart to the Superbowl, trash is in and decency is out.
Not sure I want to go back to those extremes, but my Mom wouldn’t shop for groceries in the 60s without a little makeup and a nice dress. She wouldn’t have worn “sweats” in the living room, let alone in public!
