A male leopard which entered a school in the Indian city of Bangalore injured six people trying to capture it.

A scientist and a forestry employee were among those mauled during the near 10-hour long effort to corner the dangerous animal on Sunday.

The leopard, which strolled into the Vibgyor International school, was eventually tranquillised and released.

A recent wildlife census estimated that India has a leopard population of between 12,000 and 14,000.

The eight-year-old male was spotted strolling inside the school premises in the Kundalahalli area.

Here that condition would be intolerable. Despite the definite lean in that direction people are still more important than animals especially if those animals are killing people wholesale. Comparing a leopard to a mountain lion is comparable to saying that the guy who types orders at HQ is the same as a member of Delta force. They are both soldiers, then the similarities separate.

People see mountain lions in soviet Red Hampshire now and then,

OMG, NO!!! And here I've been bragging to my Arkansas Ozarks friends that as a child in NH I never had to worry about anything more dangerous than black flies! Out here we have everything from bears to brown recluse spiders to rattlesnakes! But I think you've got us beat now!!!

We started with red since it has the shortest wavelength

Red has the longest wavelength.

I find it a sign of God’s mercy that all the top predators are the most beautiful of His creatures. Can you imagine a spider or scorpion the size of a lion? Horrors!!!

Sorry, brain freeze. I meant to say that red has the longest.

Yipes! Don’t learn from me! I have red as having the shortest wavelength whereas I should have said the longest.

Red — what my face is now.
